Founded in 1967 to shrink oversized transformers, Pelham-based Pico Electronics now makes miniature and ultra-miniature magnetic components and power supplies for aircraft, military systems, and other demanding applications. Its compact designs include high-voltage DC-DC converters reaching 10,000 volts and power units up to 300 watts, with components used everywhere from single-engine aircraft to the International Space Station and Mars rovers. Pico operates a USA manufacturing facility and provides engineering support for modified and custom modules.
