Born from a surf-shop discovery in Ocean City, Plak That makes custom photo prints and signs in wood and other materials, along with awards and routed signage. Founded in 2012 and opened as a shop in summer 2013, the company has grown from shipping wooden prints out of the owner’s parents’ garage to producing its work in-house for online, commercial, and local customers. Its small Ocean City team of six also makes sustainably sourced wood products, including a hometown wooden ornament.
