In Warren, Ohio, PMD Gunsmithing is a father-and-son operation—Phil and Mike Dyer—focused especially on restoring worn firearms into keepsakes that can be passed down. The shop repairs firearms dating from around 1900 to the present and serves customers nationwide, with a repair philosophy centered on understanding a gun’s original design and fixing the cause of a malfunction rather than simply swapping parts.
