Founded in 1966 by its two current directors, Wolverhampton-based RDP Electronics designs and manufactures measurement sensors and signal-conditioning equipment, with its LVDT displacement sensors and amplifiers made at its UK factory. RDP was among the early manufacturers of LVDT displacement transducers and pioneered building the signal-conditioning amplifier into the sensor itself. Its products measure displacement, load and pressure in applications ranging from industrial production and laboratories to deep-sea and high-temperature environments.
