Founded in Buffalo in 1946 by Walter Riley and his son Donald, Riley Gear now manufactures custom precision gears, gearboxes, and power-transmission components in St. Augustine, Florida. Its 46-machine facility handles the work under one roof, producing gears from 0.25 to 40 inches in pitch diameter to AGMA Q15 or DIN 2 specifications. Riley Gear supplied gears for NASA’s Viking 1 Mars landing vehicle and brings more than 75 years of experience to demanding aerospace, industrial, and transportation applications.
