Its history began with patented recutting technology for Union Carbide and Eveready battery casings before the company expanded into a full line of winding, cutting, and tube-processing equipment. Now operating from a 20,000-square-foot production facility, Rockport remains owned by Robert L. Fulop, who acquired the company in 2013.
