Founded in 2014 by Suzanne Walton, Rowan Woodwork is a queer- and women-owned Kingston, New York studio that designs, builds, and installs handcrafted custom cabinetry and furniture. Its design-led team combines traditional and modern woodworking techniques with a collaborative process for homeowners, architects, contractors, and designers. Rowan also operates a nearly 10,000-square-foot former auto-body shop as a certified green business and hosts free, inclusive community gatherings centered on Japanese hand-planing.
