Born from the 2012 merger of Dutch machine builders Safan and Darley, SafanDarley designs and builds press brakes, shears, and automated systems for sheet-metal working. The company traces its roots to Darley’s 1934 machinery plant and Safan’s 1960 formation, and it now combines in-house research and development with production in Lochem and Eijsden, Netherlands. SafanDarley is also known for inventing the servo-electronic press brake and employs 210 people worldwide.
