Founded in 1953, SEALTRON designs and manufactures glass-to-metal hermetically sealed connectors, with a long-standing specialty in MIL-Standard cylindrical connectors. The Cincinnati-based operation became part of AMETEK Engineered Interconnect and Packaging in 1998 and operates a 39,000-square-foot manufacturing facility. Its connectors serve mission-critical aerospace, defense, space, and industrial applications.

Its Cincinnati-based Sealtron operation occupies a 39,000-square-foot plant, while the broader EIP group brings together specialized brands including Hermetic Seal, AMETEK SCP and Aegis. • Solid Sealing TechnologyFrom its Watervliet operation, Solid Sealing Technology designs and manufactures hermetic feedthroughs and connectors by joining ceramic or glass to metal for demanding vacuum environments. Its engineers develop both catalog components and custom assemblies, including parts used in MRI machines, particle accelerators, and NASA’s Mars InSight Mission.
