About

Lancaster County entrepreneurs Nancy and Bev—“the Ghee Gals”—have been making small-batch ghee from grass-fed butter since 2013. They began with 55 pounds of butter cooked on stovetops and now supply both household cooks and specialty food businesses with ghee made to their specifications from Pennsylvania and other U.S. butter sources. Their A2 grass-fed ghee starts with DNA-certified Guernsey cows from a single Lancaster County farm, while bulk formats serve restaurants, meal-prep companies and food producers.
