Founded in Cincinnati in 1948 by Harold F. Smith, Smith Electrochemical Company provides metal plating and anodizing services for industrial parts. Still family-owned and operated in its third generation, the company grew from a 900-square-foot plating shop to a 25,000-square-foot facility and built lasting experience serving military and aerospace work, including silver-plated jet engine parts for General Electric. Its capabilities also support medical applications and other precision components.
