Born from an inventor’s 1987 patent for a layered engine-noise dampener, Cleveland-based Soundwich designs and manufactures engineered thermal, acoustical and underbody shielding for automotive and aerospace applications. The company has been a Tier 1 supplier since 1988 and now operates two manufacturing facilities on the 70-acre Cleveland Industrial Innovation Center campus. Soundwich’s 13 employee-held patents and certified quality systems support its expansion from 35 years focused on automotive work into aerospace, where it shipped its first parts in 2024.
