Since 1972, SpaceKap has manufactured fiberglass caps and transferable slip-in service bodies that turn full-size pickups into secure, organized work vehicles. Its distinctive approach is a universal-fit unit that can move to a replacement truck in about 20 minutes, offering tradespeople and fleets a durable alternative to a cargo van or permanently mounted steel body. The company employs more than 100 people and developed its service-body line in 1992 with automotive designer Paul Deutschman.
