Since 1955, Spectrocell Inc. has manufactured precision spectrophotometer cells and cuvettes for analytical science, continuing the work of its predecessor, Precision Glass Products Company. The Oreland, Pennsylvania manufacturer produces standard and custom cells in its 14,000-square-foot plant, including specialized designs such as permanently fused gas-filled quartz cells. Spectrocell is the only U.S. facility dedicated to manufacturing these cells and operates under MIL-I-45208 quality-assurance requirements.
