Founded in 2006 by photography and digital-imaging professionals, New York City’s SugarHill Works is a small custom production house making archival pigment prints and high-resolution scans for artists, photographers, galleries, and other image professionals. The studio grew as an alternative to factory-style photo labs, with one-on-one collaboration, careful color matching, and hands-on retouching and restoration shaping its work. Its experience includes more than 25 years in photography and digital imaging, including professional film scanning on a Hasselblad Imacon scanner.

Its owners bring a combined 30-plus years of fine-arts experience, and the shop hand-inspects every print while keeping irreplaceable photos, slides, video and film safely on site.
