Its two North American plants—in Maryland and Arizona—assemble products with American labor, including retractable patio awnings, fabric-roof pergolas, louvered roof structures and solar screens. Sunair traces its roots to an umbrella factory founded in Sweden in 1880 and distributes through independent dealers across North America, the Caribbean and Mexico.
