Founded with 100 chickens in Hudsonville in 1949, Sunrise Acres Egg Farm is a family-run Michigan operation that raises hens and produces, processes, and delivers eggs through its own integrated farm system. The Patmos family is now in its third generation, growing much of the feed for its birds, operating the Patmos Feed Mill, and supplying customers in Michigan and across the United States. Its facilities hold Safe Quality Food certifications, while the farm participates in United Egg Producers animal-welfare and Michigan Agricultural Environmental Assurance programs.
