Since its founding in 1977, System Engineering International has built its identity around American-made critical-power equipment from its 24,000-square-foot Frederick, Maryland, manufacturing facility. With more than 30,000 systems shipped worldwide, the company is known for supporting infrastructure that cannot afford a power interruption, particularly in industrial and telecommunications settings. SEI also helped shape the IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet standard and has manufactured midspan equipment since 2003.
