Since its founding as Tactair Fluid Controls in 1950, Tactair has designed and manufactured hydraulic and pneumatic controls for aerospace and defense applications. Based in Liverpool, New York, the Young & Franklin subsidiary operates two manufacturing facilities totaling 180,000 square feet and employs approximately 200 people. Its in-house engineering, precision manufacturing, testing, and FAA- and EASA-licensed repair operation support aircraft systems from landing gear to nose-wheel steering.
