Founded in Dayton in 1952, Thaler Defense Systems has grown from a local precision machine shop into a Springboro defense contractor making complex components and assemblies for ordnance, hypersonic and space programs. Its nearly 100,000-square-foot operation brings more than 130 CNC machines, electron-beam welding and in-house inspection together under one roof, supporting work from prototype through production. The company is certified to AS9100 and ISO 9001:2015 and operates under U.S. defense export-control requirements.
