The Finch family has owned the company since 1926, and today great-great-grandsons Garth and Kurt Finch lead a business whose searchlights have been used on nearly every U.S. military watercraft and on ships and security installations worldwide. Its history includes the world’s first electric toy train line and pioneering work in carbon-arc, xenon-arc, and LED searchlight technology.
