Family-owned and operated since 1933, The Mines Press remains under third-generation Mines family leadership from its Cortlandt Manor facility. Founded by Samuel Mines during the Great Depression, the company earned its enduring nickname, “The Insurance Printers,” after its insurance forms took off in 1952. Today, its more than 100 employees handle commercial printing and direct mail under one roof, with a 1.3-megawatt community-solar installation helping power the operation.
