Founded by Roy Thompson in 1946, Thompson Aluminum Casting Company is a Cleveland-area foundry producing aluminum and magnesium castings, with a particular focus on aerospace and defense components. The Thomas family took ownership in 1972, and Brian Thomas now leads the company in its third generation of family ownership from a 60,000-square-foot Ohio facility. Ross AluminumSince 1931, Ross Aluminum has operated in Sidney as a custom aluminum casting foundry, producing castings for aerospace, automotive, defense and small-engine applications.
