Tonnie’s Minis grew from Tonnie Rozier’s home baking business into a dessert shop known for mini cupcakes and other treats made with recipes rooted in his grandmother’s and mother’s kitchens. Founded in 2006 with a Cupcake and Coffee Bar in New York’s West Village, the business became especially associated with Tonnie’s mother’s carrot cake recipe and expanded its following from local customers to media and entertainment circles. Today, the Newark bakery also takes on custom orders for events.
