Founded in 1982 by Swedish engineer Gunnar Ennerfelt, Toroid Corporation designs and manufactures toroidal power transformers and inductors at its Salisbury, Maryland facility. The privately held company has remained under Ennerfelt family leadership since Gunnar’s daughter, Katarina, succeeded him in 2006, and it has manufactured transformers in the United States since 1983.
