Cleveland-based Tylok International manufactures American-made fittings and valves for industrial flow and instrumentation systems. Its roots reach back to the mid-1940s, when Cullen Crawford patented the original flare-less fitting and founded Crawford Fitting Company, helping create the compression-fittings industry; Tylok has continued manufacturing in the United States for roughly seven decades. The family organization has specialized in oil and gas connections since 1955 and also supports demanding power, food-processing, and pulp-and-paper applications.
