Since 1929, family-owned Union Connector has manufactured electrical products for the entertainment industry, evolving from stage-pin connectors into company switches and custom power-distribution equipment. Still operated by the third generation of the Wolpert family, the company developed the first UL Listed company switch and later patented its SafeCam® system, which helps prevent exposed energized receptacles. Its equipment serves theaters, touring productions, broadcast operations and other venues that rely on temporary electrical power.
