Founded in Syracuse in 1923 by self-taught engineer Jacob H. Rubenstein, United Radio repairs and remanufactures electronics for automotive, consumer and two-way communications manufacturers worldwide. Now led by third-generation Rubenstein family members, the company has grown from a one-man radio shop into a multi-division operation that processes more than 3,000 units a day and supports customers in more than 140 countries.
