Founded by Wayne Stephen in 1980 with one dump truck and a borrowed trailer, Wayne Paving & Gravel has grown into a family-run paving contractor and concrete producer serving the Pennsylvania and Western New York region from Shinglehouse. The company later began producing its own sand and gravel, added ready-mix concrete in 1996, and now supplies materials alongside paving and construction work. Lisa Stephen serves as president, with the next generation, Grant and Garret Stephen, in leadership roles.
