Since 1882, Weiss Instruments has made temperature and pressure instruments and controls, building its name around industrial thermometers and pressure gauges. The company’s history began with Albert A. Weiss Jr. manufacturing glass thermometers with his father after World War I, and its third and fourth generations later carried the business through Long Island before manufacturing moved to Mount Clemens, Michigan, in 2022. Weiss also develops customized instruments for OEM applications, including its patented self-powered Vari-angle digital thermometers and light-powered pressure gauges.
