Founded in 1929, Xaloy manufactures plasticizing equipment for polymer processors, including precision screws, barrels and melt-stream components. The Austintown company invented bimetallic casting technology in the 1940s, a development behind its wear-resistant X-800 barrel liner, and now serves more than 5,000 manufacturers in over 30 countries. Its engineering and technology center also supports custom component design, process optimization and rheology testing.
