What began as founder William J. Fries IV’s one-man welding shop in 2007 has grown into XTREME Fabrication, a central Maryland shop building and repairing metalwork, custom truck bodies, and contract-manufactured products. Its 14,000-square-foot facility supports projects ranging from intricate aluminum welding to heavy fabrication, while its team also provides mobile and emergency welding service. XTREME is particularly known for its American-made aluminum truck bodies and for staying open around the clock after snowfalls of more than an inch.
