Established in 2000 on Keuka Lake, Yates Cellars is a small, limited-production boutique winery that grows all its grapes on site and makes more than 25 varieties of wine. Owner, vineyard manager, and winemaker Alan Hunt brings over 50 years of wine-industry experience to the operation. The tasting room occupies Hampstead Mansion, a 19th-century Yates County historic landmark between Branchport and Penn Yan.
Azure Hill WineryBegun in 2006 by co-owners and winemakers Leslie Knipe and Joseph Sheehy, Azure Hill Winery is a small farm winery on Keuka Lake’s west side producing limited-release wines from estate-grown and locally sourced grapes. The business grew from wine made in the couple’s basement cellar into a permanent home and expanded tasting room, where the owners still serve their wines alongside lake and vineyard views.
