Founded from a 2019 team focused on food insecurity, Cincinnati-based Avari Aero develops American-made unmanned aerial vehicles for logistics and other long-range missions. Its Hermes M2 is a VTOL fixed-wing hybrid designed to carry goods without conventional takeoff or landing infrastructure, while the company’s Alaska project applies drone logistics to rural food access and community-run delivery networks. Avari incorporated in 2021 and has since advanced its first system prototype through ground and integration testing.
