Family-owned since 1919, Banfi makes and markets wine and spirits, with its identity rooted in Castello Banfi’s 7,100-acre estate in Montalcino and its role in the renaissance of Brunello di Montalcino. Led by third-generation proprietor and CEO Cristina Mariani, the company combines vineyard research with hospitality and sustainability across a portfolio spanning Italy, the United States, Chile and Ireland. Castello Banfi holds Equalitas certification and was the first winery to receive ISO 14001 and SA8000 recognition for environmental, ethical and social responsibility.
