For twelve years, Carrie Curry’s Batter Bake Shop made made-to-order desserts from a private commercial kitchen in downtown Johnstown, including the gourmet cupcakes that became its specialty. The shop was especially known for buckeye, champagne raspberry, and chocolate chip cookie dough cupcakes, and its wedding desserts served thousands of guests. Batter Bake Shop is no longer accepting new orders, though some products remain available through local Johnstown businesses.
