Rosie Kovacs and Hayes Shanesy started Brush Factory in Cincinnati in 2009 as a studio where design and craftsmanship could happen under one roof. From its workshop, the company creates contemporary wood furniture and case goods for residential and commercial clients, using solid wood construction and traditional joinery. Its work is closely tied to Cincinnati’s Over-the-Rhine revitalization, where the studio has completed custom projects for local spaces.
