Built at its present site in the 1750s, Burnt Cabins Grist Mill still produces old-fashioned stone-ground flours and pancake mixes while serving as the centerpiece of a family campground in Pennsylvania’s Allegheny Mountains. The National Register-listed mill uses its historic waterwheel, gears, and grinding stones, giving campers and customers a direct connection to the site’s working past. The campground offers tent and RV sites beneath the mill, with trails and a stocked trout stream nearby.
