Based in New York City’s West Harlem Innovation Cluster, CarbonBridge builds compact direct-gas bioreactors that help scientists use microbes to turn gases into industrial chemicals. Its modular platform is designed to eliminate the solubility barriers of conventional aqueous bioprocessing, while responding to process changes in under 60 seconds. CarbonBridge is also developing pathways for products such as methanol and polymer intermediates, with research collaborations supporting future scale-up.
