Born from a Cleveland Clinic collaboration, Cleveland’s Centerline Biomedical develops 3D surgical navigation technology for endovascular procedures. Founded in 2014, the company’s FDA-cleared Intra-Operative Positioning System (IOPS®) combines patient-specific imaging with sensor-equipped catheters and guidewires to provide real-time positioning while helping reduce reliance on radiation-inducing fluoroscopy. Founder and CTO Vikash Goel and his team developed the technology through a decade of work with Cleveland Clinic vascular surgeon Dr. Roy Greenberg.
