Cornell Hyperloop is a Cornell University student organization in Ithaca, with more than 45 members and eight-plus years of activity devoted to building autonomous, scale-model pods. The team develops its own hyperloop technology for global competitions, including a 2025 chassis that cut pod mass by 62 percent and can be assembled in under 30 minutes.

Cornell Mars RoverSince 2010, Cornell Mars Rover has been a student-run Cornell University team designing and building semi-autonomous rovers for the annual University Rover Challenge. Its roughly 50 members bring together engineering and life-science expertise to create machines that can traverse difficult terrain, manipulate equipment, and analyze soil samples with an onboard laboratory.
