Planted in 2003 on Southold’s North Fork, Croteaux Vineyards grows vinifera grapes exclusively for rosé, making it the only vineyard in the United States devoted entirely to the style. Its 10.5 acres of vines and winery sit among historic farms with agricultural roots reaching back to the 1700s, while a pebbled tasting garden and old barns give visitors a setting as distinctive as the dry, crisp wines. Croteaux harvests by hand and releases a fresh vintage each season, typically selling out by fall.
