Since 1939, Dayton-Phoenix Group has designed and manufactured electrical and mechanical systems for heavy industry, with roots in Dayton and a particular focus on rail, mining, and off-highway equipment. Its made-to-spec work spans durable equipment components and newer electrification systems, including VOLT, a portable battery solution that helps operators hybridize existing locomotives rather than replace them. The privately held company has more than 750,000 square feet of vertically integrated manufacturing space across the United States and supports customers through repair, remanufacturing, and engineering from concept through production.
