Rooted in a Dayton pizza family that dates to a Rome-born grandmother’s 1957 pizzeria, Dayton’s Original Pizza Factory has been making pizzas, subs, and salads since Bill Daniels and Glen Brailey founded it in 1986. The single-store business has operated in the South Park Historic District since 1996, making its own dough and sauce while providing delivery and event catering. Its community work earned the 2023 national Great Pizza Give-Back grand prize, and it won first place in the 2020 Dayton Business Journal Pizza Madness contest.
