Family-owned since Bob Derecktor opened a small Mamaroneck shop in 1947, Derecktor Shipyards has grown into a four-facility East Coast shipyard while remaining in the boatbuilding business. Its history runs from pioneering aluminum construction to landmark vessels such as America’s Cup winners, and today the company brings that builder’s experience to complex work for yacht and commercial-vessel owners.
