Founded in 1996 by Philip Goetz and Andrei Dukhin, Dispersion Technology develops and manufactures instruments that use acoustic and electroacoustic methods to characterize concentrated dispersions, emulsions, and porous materials. From its Bedford Hills laboratory, the company also develops measurement applications and software, with more than 850 instruments installed internationally. DTI’s technical work includes seven U.S. patents, international standards for acoustic particle sizing and zeta-potential measurement, and three editions of an Elsevier scientific book.
