Founded by two physicists in 1991, owner-managed SONOTEC GmbH develops and manufactures ultrasonic transducers, sensors, testing equipment, and measurement solutions from Halle (Saale). Its roughly 200-person team builds customer-specific systems for applications ranging from non-invasive fluid monitoring to preventive maintenance and nondestructive testing, with a U.S. sales and service subsidiary established in 2013.
