Founded in Maryland in 2000, minority-owned Ecotronics Ventures develops hardware and software systems for telecommunications, weather research, and unmanned aircraft. The company has developed Kapanga VoIP software since 2005 and brings atmospheric Lidar engineering experience from field work at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center to its MetUAV environmental-sensing efforts. It also distributes French-made UAV payload systems for missions including search and rescue and beyond-visual-line-of-sight operations.
