Founded by brothers David and Jonathan Evans in 1910, Ellwood City Forge Group makes large open-die forgings and takes many of them from steelmaking through heat treatment and machining at its western Pennsylvania facilities. The company’s two forging plants produce custom components weighing up to 70,000 pounds and stretching 57 feet, with particular experience in demanding applications such as fluid-end blocks for oil and gas.
