Fannie May makes chocolates and confections, continuing a Chicago chocolate-shop tradition that began in 1920 when H. Teller Archibald opened at 11 N. LaSalle Street. The company says it now makes more than 100 different confections and develops new American flavor profiles; its longstanding specialties include Pixies, Mint Meltaways, and Buttercreams.
